Current Art Exhibition: INFINITE SPACE

In View through May 30th

Since our partial re-opening (late August 2020), we have begun to host private live music performances where we were allowed to do live stream broadcasts or private small group recordings. All the musicians arrived with such enthusiasm and were excited to be able to play music despite not seeing their audiences. The music and the energy filled the room and we being the only “audiences” felt very privileged. But besides the live audiences, we felt something was missing. That’s when we reached out to our long term partner Arts Gowanus and we asked Johnny Thornton (Executive Director) for help. His response was immediate and enthusiastic.

This exhibition has come to life under Yvena Despagne’s curatorship. We are so honored to have artists Anita Trombetta and Johnny Thornton’s works exhibited at our space. This exhibition will run throughout May 2021. You can request an appointment to view the artwork at our location by emailing us: events@shapeshifterlab.com
