About Nick Marziani
Saxophonist Nick Marziani is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from Philly. Growing up in a city rich in so many musical disciplines, Nick absorbed everything from classical to jazz to pop, studying with the city’s finest artists. Drawing influence from all sides of his musical upbringing, Nick’s songs combine the soulfulness and colors of jazz with the upbeat grooves of dance, pop and R&B music. Drawing influence from the improvisational prowess of Michael Brecker to the funky grooves of Grover Washington, Jr., Nick’s playing brings a fresh, unique perspective to the saxophone in the Philly and New York jazz scenes.
About Liam Sutcliffe
The Liam Sutcliffe band consists of musicians coming from the straight ahead jazz tradition, but also branching out into other genres. They perform throughout the Philadelphia/New York metropolitan areas regularly and can be seen at Chris’ Jazz Cafe, Tavern on George, Hopewell Valley Bistro, etc.
