Class Offerings

Whichever style of yoga you try, please ask yourself during and after the class – and in the hours and days that follow: How do I feel? Is this class helping me to connect with my innermost Self? Is my body happy with what I am doing? If the answer is yes, congratulations! You have found a yoga practice that, inevitably, will open you to a whole new and wonderful world—the world of your own healthy body, filled with Peace and Balance…

Our instructors will guide you through a series of graceful yet challenging poses, building endurance, stamina, mental strength, intuition, and compassion along the way. Throughout the class, we’ll explore variations on inversions, twists, and binds, as well as pranayama and mantra practices, all based on the teachings of classical, traditional, and innovative yoga masters. While advanced poses are not a requirement, this is a space where you can learn and grow, exploring the Eight-Fold Path of yoga with like-minded individuals. Please note that this class is designed for experienced students ready to take their yoga practice to the next level.

This class is not for beginners.

Dharma yoga includes a progressive series of vinyasa sequences designed to allow the free flow of prana energy up and down the spine and throughout the physical body and mind. The postures include stretching, twists, balancing poses, backbends and some inversions. Because Dharma Yoga has several series vinyasas, it can be practiced by yogis at the level appropriate to their skills. Dharma yoga, though, is more than the physical practice. It incorporates all of the eight limbs of yoga as outlined in the Yoga Sutras. Specifically, Dharma yoga includes pranayama breathing exercises, meditation and even instruction on yogic philosophy and lifestyle with the ultimate goal reaching Self-realization, or knowledge of the true Self.

Jivamukti yoga is a unique and dynamic style of Vinyasa yoga that was conceived in 1984 by the visionary duo of artist David Life and musician/dancer Sharon Gannon. Rooted in the ancient practice of Hatha yoga, this style is infused with elements drawn from the teachings of Swami Nirmalananda, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and Shri Brahmananda Saravasti, among others. The Sanskrit word “jiva” (individual living soul) and “mukti” (the liberation from the eternal cycle of birth and death) form the name “Jivamukti,” which implies the attainment of freedom while living in the earthly realm. This Jivamukti-inspired Vinyasa class is open to all levels of practitioners, and modifications will be offered to beginners to ensure a safe and enjoyable practice.

The instructor will guide you in their own distinctive way, bringing their expertise, passion, and experience to each class. While beginners are always welcome in any of our classes, we recommend taking one of our foundational classes, such as Beginner or Hatha Yoga, to familiarize yourself with the terminology and basic principles of yoga. We understand the importance of safety and ease in developing your practice, both physically and mentally. Experience the transformative power of this ancient practice.
These combined styles of yoga are practiced slowly to relax muscles, tendons, and connective tissue. However, in Yin Yoga, poses are held longer for thorough stretching. Plan to do relatively fewer poses during this class. Restorative yoga focuses more on calming the nervous system than Yin Yoga and is more or less a slow-motion type practice.

Perfect for: Absolute beginners, students recovering from an injury, or those who prefer a relaxing, mindful practice.

The class is based on the structure as designed by Swami Sivananda. It derives from Swami Sivananda’s expertise in medical science and hatha yoga from the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Each class commences with breathing exercises to prepare the body and mind for the asana practice. Asanas include sun salutations, inversions, hamstring stretches, backbends, balance poses, side stretches, and yoga nidra to bring strength, flexibility, and vitality to the body, mind, and soul. All practices are open to all levels of practice and are modified to fit the needs and progress of each student.

Raja Yoga, also known as Royal Yoga, is a traditional form of yoga that emphasizes the development of the mind and intellect. It is one of the oldest and most comprehensive paths of yoga, offering a systematic approach to self-realization and spiritual growth.

Raja Yoga, the Full Yoga Sadhana, consists of Patanjali’s Rich 8th Fold Path of Yoga: Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi.

Whether you are in beginner or advanced practice, we understand that each pose has countless variations and modifications. We can guide you through them safely and effectively to reach your full potential.
